Pet Assistance for Wellness & Smiles
We are so excited to introduce "Lady", "Annie", and "Suzie" to our community for Animal Assisted Activites. "Lady" and "Annie" are very well mannered Border Collies that love to catch frisbees, play fetch, or just lay by your side for some much enjoyed love and attention. "Suzie" is a Great Pyrenees that gently rests her head on your lap so that she too can be petted and adored. Our dogs are not only great with active children, but also with kids that may need to play at a slower pace. They are gentle with the elderly and help to promote physical activity, emotional wellness; people just can't help but smile when they enter the room.
Cindy Barnes, owner of "Annie" and "Suzie", lives in Pickens County and I am in Cherokee County. We would love to hear from homes, schools, and facilities in this area. We are volunteering our time and we do not hold fundraisers. Any "gifts" received will be applied toward animal care, transportation, or to a shelter/rescue group in need.
